Good Night People, have a wonderful night.

No thats not the point. I was just saying next thursday will be the exhibition. (Remember to kidnap any Daddy regardless of his size and say that I'll find you a new girlfriend - the Mummies will LOVE them - PUN STRONGLY INTENDED)

After we wave sayonara to the smiling undead, we will head to any ice-skating rink (Make sure its Kallang(or somewhere near) so noobs like us can own the puny rink. The total cost for the Skating Only - (Yes don't assume it also includes the exhibition) is approximately $20. And remember...REMEMBER ONE THING. You have to bring along a pair of SOCKS. No one cares if you bring stockings or the ones you may not have washed since kindergarden; but if you don't, be prepared to swear at the ticket booth person for ripping you off by $2 further. (I'm serious, I literally paid my price for that.)

Well, so long peeps. Do bitchslap me if u have any issues.

Heyy guys

It was a really awesome chalet, although there was only a few ppl. nevertheless, Thank you soo much to those who came (it meant so much to me!) Kit and melvin much or less alrdy said what i wanted to say about diff individuals :)

THEN AGAIN ITS THE HOLIDAYS!!! Lets play hard (and work hard) during the holidays.

Chapter One - DEDICATIONS

Wow, its the end of the 2nd chalet...(pause)...I must have stoned for a couple of hours now. But more importantly, THANK YOU EVERYONE (regardless of those who came or not) for the wonderful few days we have stayed together. In no particular order, let me voice out my thank yous to these people. (If I forgot about anyone or anything in particular, do voice it out and bitchslap me 5 times pl0x when you see me next time.)

Jessica - Without you, all of us probably wouldn't have survived and died of hunger. You helped out in buying food from White Sands. The Ancestral minced luncheon meat was the best creation ever (I'm serious). The Rice and Cambell soup are really nice as well. You gave me the right commands to synchronise your pedalling steps when riding the two-seater bicycle. I hope my lame bulk of mass did not burden your legs too much when you had to ride me back to the chalet. Wii and card games are very fun as well. You taught us that Ancestral power never dies. MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Kit Min - You helped us plan the list for our daily neccessities and along with buying them from White Sands. You allowed us to choose our breakfast for the day and took the trouble to get them. You got our food and drinks from cheers along with Mingguan in a taxi. I really like the present and I know you put in alot of effort in wrapping and designing it. The best birthday gift I got in my past 17 years of my life. My way of attempting to split the luncheon meat can mussst have caused the cut on your thumb. Do take care. A thousand apologies for that. :( You even helped me out when I Blur Blur when playing card games. Mainly you kept our scores throughout the card games. We are all happy that you played Wii and card games with us as well. :P MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Tammy - You were one of the organisers of this chalet. You brought the Wii and amazing new card games I have never even seen in my past 17 years of my life. You explained the rules brilliantly. You boosted the liveliness of this chalet despite the reduced number of overnight stayers. You even joined us for Poker for the final night and made sure our disputes among the game rules are settled affirmatively. I borrowed your jacket without asking and used it to cover my head when I was drunk. You politely told us to wake up, especially when it is time to check out. MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P

Joe - PRO Wii player. You helped out tirelessly in getting our foodstuff from White Sands. You invented the "See-Saw" Bed and its really KOOL but I think is fail. You made me experience how its like to cruise through the winds in 80,000 mph when I dunno how to ride a bicycle on the night of my 18th birthday. Very enriching experience. You bounce on beds with stunning annoying power. You like to play with nuts during Poker and managed to win. You taught me that orange juice can mix with wine. PRO. MunchKin and Beanz!THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Bernard - You made me envy the way you master playing psp for 12+ hours a day. SAKI! You helped me decide on what to eat from SUBWAY and I like the choice you made. You look like S-Curve, think like S-Curve and act with S-Curve. The trademark never dies. You gave me the confidence to begin learning how to ride a bicycle when you told me to give myself a push before stepping on the next pedal. Games, Games, Games, SAKI! MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Gerald - You brought stuff that enlightened my soul - Alcohol, Basketball, and the game of Poker. Even though I will still be knocked-out easily before long, I can't stop savouring for more of the fruit wines in that refrigerator. I did not mean anything when I said your wound on the knee looks like the insides of a dragonfruit so I hope you are not offended by that. You gave us the opportunity to learn about Poker and I had much fun dealing out the cards. MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Javin - You shared with us your Halo game and we had some fun. I'm sorry I can't join you for your LAN gaming time as I was too fatigued despite your constant requests. My most sincere regrets to that. You did join us for Poker on the last night which is good. You also helped in getting me a head start in my bicycle learning. You filmed us in the chalet. MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Mingguan - You joined us for a night in a chalet and a meal in White Sands. Your laughter really sparks the atmosphere up again for that night. I hope my towel doesnt reek of my bad breath when you borrowed it to bathe. Wii was very nice with you tagging along with us as well. You managed to wait until we went to the bus stop to see you off. MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P
Charlotte & Sangeetha - McDonald's! You both took the time to ask us what we wanted from Mc even though you cannot stay overnight in chalet and ordered the delivery to arrive promptly in front of our doorstep. Wii is really fun when you played. MunchKin and Beanz! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P

As for the rest - Stacy, ZiJing, Crystal, Vivianne, Vickie, Sherrilyn, Ryan, Iwan, Kelvin, Danny - We really appreciate your moral efforts in making this chalet possible despite your absence. DO COME JOIN US SOON! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :P

Chapter Two - AFTER CHALET INCURRING DEPRESSION SYNDROME (ACIDS)

Just a random fact about it. Directly after chalet, the very first breakfast gives you a mild to a really strong headache for at least 2.6 seconds. No immediate cure for it until the last chapter has been read. :P

Chapter Three - OUTSTANDING DEBTS (Not My Problem)

Note: Names mentioned require money to be paid back to them ASAP. If anyone else requires money to be paid back to them because i never put your name in, bitchslap me 5 times pl0x and tell me.

Tammy - $20 for meter reading bills, Approximately $20 for each person staying in chalet for the entire or near entire duration to Tammy.

Kit Min - How much do we owe Kit Min? If Any?

Joe? or Gerald? - $0.80 to Joe? or Gerald? for meter reading bills LUL.

...and Yours Truly - $44.95 + Interest* (I think), $4 has to be from Joe because of the SuperDog meal, the remaining $40.95 is because of grocery and miscellanous charges. Note: * refers to interest rates of 0.1635% per minute starting from the checkout time of 10:03 a.m. of Friday, 19th March. Remember, all debts to me can be cleared the easy way - Go on your knees and kowtow to me 3 times and its done. Easy Right? :P

Chapter Four - DEBT ISSUES

Debts to me are cleared instantly when you read this chapter (I'm serious), however, the debts to the rest still apply. No Kowtow works for them. :P

Chapter Five - THE CURE (Very Important)

Remember what I said in Chapter Two about ACIDS? I have found the solution to it. This is a plan. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE POST CHALET ACTIVITIES!!!

Starting from tommorow, Saturday 20th March, We plan to go on a trip(maybe a 1 night stay), In Sentosa! We can go to the Universal Studios and as a group package, we pay with a special deal!

During the following Monday to Thursday, We plan to watch movies like [How to Train Your Dragon], or [Diary Of A Wimpy Kid], and on Thursday, 25th March, perhaps ICE-SKATING is to your liking?

If there is anything else that needs to be added on in this chapter please do so. Will make things more interesting.

Firstly, the chalet was a majoorrrrr-success. :] although we missed some people like, Iwan and Danny.. and that some people had to leave early like Mingguan and Bernard, it was still the most enjoyable and exciting week of my life. [for me anyway] haha~

PROPOSAL~ (8^th Sept)

Games/Activities

More suggestions are greatly welcome (:

We need a ball if we want to play Captain’s Ball and basketball. And water guns for water games. Who can bring ball and water gun?

And we need someone to explain game rules to those who may not have played the game before, like ‘Eagle Snake Hunter’. So those who know how to play please be the ‘game master’ and take charge and teach those who dunno.

Should bring cards and such so we can play them when we are not having ‘important/grouped’ activities.

There will probably be drawing/art session during chalet too so this is just to keep you informed (:

Out-of-chalet night activities are not recommended because its still 7^th month so unless you’re not afraid please don’t do it. And have to go in even numbers, yup.

Food

1^st day will be a potluck so everyone please bring one dish to share if possible! :D (try to make it enough for 18-20 people, and please tell tammy/zijing what you are bringing just so we don’t have 2 same dishes)

Pot luck is when everyone brings a dish to the place and we have a sort-of buffet. We can eat the leftovers the next day for lunch or dinner if we have any, just so we can save some food money. (so parents, be prepared to cook more! >D )

Stuff we STILL need to buy (tentative, list may change)

- bread X3 loafs

- milk X10 cartons

- ~~cheese X2packs~~ vickie bringing

- eggs X60

- butter

- vegetables and fruits (for healthy meals and maybe a salad.)

we need volunteers to buy bread and milk and eggs and any of the stuff stated in the list above if possible.

Things to Bring

Compulsory items

- At least 5 sets of clothes/undergarments (if you intend to stay till Friday, one set per day. Unless you wanna wash)

- Dark colored clothing for water games

- Toiletries (comb, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, facial wash, powder, moisturizer etc)

- Towels (you might wanna bring 2, 1 for shower and the other to wipe sweat or something. But the sweaty one you have to prepare to wash or air dry, yeap.)

- Utensils (cup, bowl, plate, fork/spoon/chopsticks)

- Personal medication (if you have and need them, and some have medication allergies so we cant share, yup.)

- A piece of cloth for area cleaning (we all have to help to clean up, make the cleaners’ jobs easier. Not required to clean toilet and stuff so is just simple wiping tables and picking up rubbish and in case you spill stuff)

- At least $20-$50 in case you need to buy food and pay for bike rental and stuff

- At least 3 Plastic bags/ ziplocks (to store your wet/dirty clothes)

Optional items

- sleeping bag (yes, we have to use that since we only have 3 rooms and around 6 beds so unless you don’t mind squeezing with people or sleeping on the floor, please bring one)

- slippers/sports shoes (to play sports and slack. Just bring either pair and wear the other one so you can change between them if you want to)

- swimming costume (since we’re gonna swim might as well bring just in case we cant swim in normal clothes)

- clothes hangers (they only provide this many in the chalet, and you might have a wet towel/washed shirt you wanna hang/ air-dry)

- badminton racquet (if you have and wanna play)

- snacks (we should all bring this and share)

- laptop and charger BRING AT OWN RISK!(so we can game and watch videos and stuff)

- tablet (for drawing on the computers)

- other art materials (for when you wanna be creative and stuff)

- soap and brush(if you wanna wash your clothes)

- movies/board games/cards (for everyone’s enjoyment)

- jacket (for cold nights)

- disposable briefs/panties (you know what its for. But please dispose properly after use)

- insect repellant

- handphone charger

- 3 or more pairs of socks

- water gun (for water games)

- maggi mee (just bring around 2-3packs)

I think basically we should not have a fixed timetable to do our stuff, so its more relaxing in a way. Just morning breakfast, then some games/activities, lunch, free time, then dinner. Then we can have more games and activities and then we sleep! Night is mostly for movies in my opinion though. And if there is arcade we can play there.

yeap. everything is $400 for each day and everyone would have to pay me $20 dollars for our chalet, which isnt too bad of everyone is coming and pays up. so yeap. and one person can not pay if all 21 of us is coming.

1 week would be awesome but we would not have enough money to sustain one week especially at downtown east. so i suggest we chop it down to 4 or 5 days to avoid the peak day charges.

in my opinion, downtown east should be out. coz not is it only expensive, the most we could afford would be a small lil chalet with not enough space for us to sleep. so i suggest we should go to the one my boyfriend recommended which is the pasir ris home town NS place. according to him its pretty ulu buuut the bungalows are much cheaper and bigger too. you guys can check it out yourself and compare the prices.

i cant seem to find the chalet rates for downtown east. bloody buggers.rawr but i'm sure its more expensive due to the fact its so close to all the fun thingies and to food and all.

Just take note - there's a YOG Appreciation Dinner on this coming Monday at 6.30pm to around 9.30pm: but we'll be chartered to and we'll be meeting at the carpark in front of that tennis court near Blk M at 5.30pm - Mr Eugene said that he's informed all the teachers to let YOG people go at 5.15pm so it's covered.

Mr E said it's compulsory for our class (unless you have a valid reason) to go for the dinner 'cos it's the only place where we can get our certificates...

okay okay.so it goes like this.

we make a poll on where we would like the chalet to be the we work from there. so we have;

1) changi ( my club is nearby and we can use the swimming pool, badminton court, bowling alley etc)
2) downtown east
3) east coast park
4) pasir ris home team NS ( this place is real cheap according to don and he can book it for us)

Alright.. so 3days is too short.. 2 weeks too long.. about 1 week then.

But. one thing. if its ONE WEEK, then we're gonna have a lug like. a luggage of clothes. and, we're booking the chalet through Stacy's mum..[got discount hahaha. :D ].. and the maximum time allowed is 3days 2 nights at a rate of $200. and its only one room.

so. technically. even if you wanted to book more.. you cant. unless without the discount. which means..each person has to pay about $50 and more for one week. plus money for your food and all. D: that isnt little..since we're poor broke art-students. haha..

I personally would love to stay longer..but some cant.

since some of us are going to look for a parttime job too.. ohcharlotte.. those ideas were just random ideas i thought up on the spot.. don't mind what i wrote. :] we'll properly plan what to do and stuff once we've gotten the list of people going, the money for the chalet and all.

Ohyea. not to mention something. Chalet = junk-ish food. as in.. Bbq, pizza, macs and stuff..there isnt really a "food court/some proper food with rice/noodle whatnot".. so won't you all get sick of eating fastfood 3 meals a day x 1 week = 21 meals. holy. imagine the money/oil.

just my two cents worth. :D

I think 3days2nights' too short, then 2 weeks is also a bit exaggerating...
But if we're going to do what kitmin suggests, 3days is definitely not going to be enough time, seeing as we'll be running around drawing in the day and traditional-wacoming in the afternoon and fangirling/guying in the night, not to mention all the camera-using, the cosplay-justforfunning, the EOY-cutstickdrawing, and pokercardtime with spare coins, I don't think anyone's gonna be satisfied with just 3days2nights... I mean, personally I'd expect a min 1 wk thingy (wouldn't that be nice?? - Wouldn't it be nice if the world was cadbury, drivin' in the... *Ahemahemahem... Anywaaayyy...)
So I think we should have a longer period of time for the chalet if we're really going to hold it, but I think having a chalet is going to be a really good idea...

And one more thing - Sherrilynn and I are kinda planning to watch Half-Blood Prince on Wednesday, anyone who want to watch it and are free on Wednesday please confirm by then so that we know who to wait for or book tickets (if we plan to book tickets) - personally I want to watch at AMK (I don't know about Sherri yet, though - it's just a personal thought) so pleasepleaseplease "RSVP" in the tagboard on this blog ASAP - just because we're gonna see each other in school before Wednesday doesn't mean you should ignore this if you read this... >.<

CLASS CHALET IDEAS

Hi da04!

We may be holding a chalet this Sep/Oct -holidays. Like a 3day 2 night chalet at Downtown East. The first night will probably be Bbq. Just random ideas for now. You can bring your sketchbook because we'll be also going around the place during the day to sketch. Although its the holidays, practise is important. hahaha. :D don't worry though..we'll still be having loads and loads of fun. :]

If those who have Wacom tablets, bring them along with your laptops too if they arent too heavy. We can hold a mass Wacom sketching/digital painting night..where we can all help each other out with cging in Photoshop and such. It's a fun, learning time. :] Those who dont want to/dont have Wacoms, can bring traditional materials to do traditional art. We can swap once in a while..[digi people do trad art and trad people do digi art etc.] An idea is that we announce a topic every 1hour or so, and you can draw whatever you want according to how you intepret the theme. :] [im sorry if you find this a stupid idea. OTL]

Aspiring photographers, ahemcoughMELVINcoughcough, bring along your cameras. ;D to practise taking photos of artists at work. hahahaha. Just kidding. :] But if you dont have any much things to carry, we can bring cameras along.. to practise different angles, lighting and all. Just in case you would like to study the Photography Elective next year. :] oh! and we can also have a mini shoot. ;D like Zingg and Viv. :] Cosplayers and all. hahaha. just for fun laughter peace and joy. Since you're going to get the costume...should wear it out more. ;D だろう?
